Facilities

Access and Facilities for the Disabled

For the main surgery there is wheelchair access via the main entrance as there are no steps. There is a lift to all floors which will accommodate a wheelchair and an attendant, and there is a toilet for the disabled off the main ground floor waiting room.

For the university branch surgery there is a ramp at the entrance for wheelchair access, and there is a toilet for the disabled off the ground floor entrance lobby.

Nappy Changing

There are nappy changing facilities at the main surgery, in the toilet off the main ground floor waiting room.

Pram Porch

There is a large pram porch around the front entrance of the main surgery although, naturally, prams are left there at patients’ own risk. Please do not obstruct access to the building.

Parking

At the main surgery there is very limited forecourt parking, which is used partly by the doctors in reserved bays. If a free space is available elsewhere on the forecourt, it should only be used for bringing disabled patients or sick children to the surgery. Patients are asked not to block the forecourt cross-over or access area.

The rear car park is for staff only

There is a controlled parking scheme in the immediate streets around the surgeries. There are disabled parking bays immediately outside the surgery in Ravenscroft Avenue, and there are ‘pay and display’ parking bays near both surgeries.

Chemists

There are several excellent pharmacies within easy walk of the main surgery on Golders Green Road and Finchley Road. The nearest pharmacy to the University Branch Surgery is on Church Road, near the top of Greyhound Hill.
